Privacy Policy

Specter keeps data collection focused on saving your training progress, running the app, and supporting subscriptions.

Last updated: April 27, 2026

What Specter stores

Specter stores the minimum data needed to run the training app: an anonymous user ID, display name, profile preferences, lesson progress, swipe results, XP, streaks, subscription access state, and related training stats.

How data is used

Your data is used to save progress, calculate training stats, restore your session, prevent duplicate scoring, personalize the training experience, manage subscription access, and keep Specter working reliably.

Subscriptions and payments

Specter uses Apple in-app purchase for subscriptions. Apple handles payment details. Specter may receive subscription status information through RevenueCat so the app can unlock paid access, restore purchases, and keep subscription access in sync.

Optional AI review

Some lesson answers may be sent to a server function for feedback when you submit an open-response exercise. Those answers are used to grade the lesson response and provide training feedback.

What Specter does not do

Service providers

Specter may use service providers such as Supabase for app backend and data storage, RevenueCat for subscription status management, Apple for in-app purchase billing, and AI infrastructure providers for lesson-response feedback.

Deleting data

You can delete your Specter data from inside the app. Deletion removes your profile, training progress, swipe history, lesson progress, and related account data tied to your Specter account.

Deleting Specter app data does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account settings.
